Rigali Packaging Products, Inc. (RPPI) was born from a vision of connectivity and service. In 1983, Don Rigali Sr., stepping away from the corporate sales world, established RPPI in a humble Chicago office with just an old kitchen table and a rotary phone. His mission: to listen, learn, and provide value in packaging solutions. Don’s relentless dedication quickly garnered trust, with early successes like Hines Lumber and an expanding product portfolio that adapted to market needs.
The late ’80s saw RPPI embrace technological change with the integration of the car phone, marking the company as a pioneer in mobile packaging solutions in Chicago. This innovation underscored RPPI’s core value of exceeding customer expectations, a principle that continues to shape our service philosophy.

My goal is to drive profitability for our customers through packaging efficiencies and innovations.

Don loves being in the office with his teammates, laughing, talking, solving customer issues, and exceeding customer expectations. He also enjoys a Friday happy hour.

Don is an avid sports enthusiast who enjoys golfing, playing hockey, and catching Cubs games from the bleachers. He also loves walking with his wife, playing tennis, and visiting Siesta Key Beach. Don enjoys meeting new people, hearing their stories, and keeping up with sports through The Athletic. One of his favorite career memories is selling a microcassette recorder to Walter Payton on a cold call while working with Lanier.

Oscar finds mowing the lawn a great way to clear his mind. He loves watching his kids play outside and joining in for a game of volleyball. Married to his forever sweetheart for four years, Oscar treasures family vacations around the Gulf of Mexico and enjoys connecting with people and hearing their stories.

After 15 years in the non-profit sector, Mona is thrilled to see how her nonprofit skills translate to custom packaging.
Fun Facts
Mona loves spending time outdoors, especially working in the yard and soaking up the sun—if it weren’t for the bugs, she’d live outside year-round. She treasures time at the lake with her family, with kayaking at sunset being a favorite tradition. A classically trained pianist, Mona has been with her high school sweetheart since they were 16 and shares her passion for music through teaching piano.

Kathy enjoys walking her dog, reading in her backyard, and traveling. She raised 4 children and loves visiting them in their new hometowns. Kathy passed all four parts of the CPA exam on her first try and then dedicated 20 years to raising her kids, blending her professional and personal life seamlessly.

Jose is a gym enthusiast who never misses a workout. He enjoys gardening and has been married for 43 years, with 4 kids and 8 grandkids. Known for his beautiful rose garden and the greenest grass in the neighborhood, Jose is also the go-to mechanic for friends needing help with fixes.

Cris is obsessed with Halloween and puts on the best Christmas light show in the neighborhood! This year, he started a vegetable garden with his family—even though he hates vegetables. When he’s not decorating or gardening, you’ll find him cruising in his supercharged Pontiac.
